Thank you all...I wish I could be 1 year younger than 1 year older :-(
Time is the one enemy that we cannot fight and hope to win. One way or another...even the universe will one day succumb to the ravages of time. The stars will lose their luster and the sun will cease to shine :-(
TIME TRAVEL IS EASIER THAN WE THINK
THE PROPHET’S NIGHT JOURNEY: A TRAVEL IN TIME
IF TIME TRAVEL IS NOT POSSIBLE…JESUS’ SECOND COMING WILL REMAIN A MYTH THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN
The angel Gabriel, according to the Prophet’s account of his NIGHT JOURNEY, took him from Mecca on a ride to Jerusalem on the back of a “BURAK,” a winged creature that was obviously not of this world. Prophet Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (May peace be upon them all) were already at the Temple Mount when he and the angel arrived. Together, they prayed with the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), leading the prayer (as Imam) before they traveled to the heavens, where each received a mission from God. (The full story could be found in many Islamic websites.)
It is, however, hard to imagine that God had resurrected the Prophets Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, may peace be upon them all, so that they could pray with the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.). If one takes a closer look, one realizes that their presence had nothing to do with the prophet’s journey, meaning their presence was not vital to his mission. Obviously, they were there for a reason of their own or God’s, and none of them were dead yet at the time. They just happened to be in the same TIME BOAT, and the TEMPLE MOUNT WAS THE PLACE OF ASSEMBLY BEFORE THEY SAIL TO THE HEAVENS.
We know from the Bible that God took Moses up on an Eagle’s wings to the heavens during the time he was on the mountain in Sinai, a Biblical fact that Christians overlooked or simply ignored to this day. The Eagle’s wing in Exodus 19:3 is another version of the “Burak” and the “Chariot of Fire” that brought the Prophet Mohammad and Prophet Elijah, may peace be upon them both, to heaven respectively. Moses’ hairs turned completely WHITE when he climbed down from the mountain, possibly an effect of time travel thousands of years into the future and back.
Muslims and Christians believe that Jesus was taken up to heaven and is expected to come back. Similarly, Prophet Elijah was taken up to heaven in a chariot of fire hundreds of years before Jesus. The Muslims, in contrast to Christians, believe that Jesus, like Elijah, was alive when taken up to heaven; hence, both are expected for an earthly-bound second coming journey. Elijah, too, was expected to come back, but didn’t to this day. We know from the prophet’s account of his trip that all the biblical/Qur’anic prophets, beginning with Adam, were present in heaven, and he never referred to them as being in spirit. Like him, they were all in heaven, bodies and souls.
Since we know that Prophet Moses and Prophet Mohammad [May Peace Be upon Them Both] returned to their people, we have to assume that all the prophets returned to their respective places in time, except for Jesus, Elijah, and possibly others we are not aware of. Prophet Jesus promised his disciples that he would return to them, in fact, during their lifetime. (I tell you the truth; some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.) He didn’t expect that God would send him to another place in time so far away from his own; THE SECOND COMING.
Chapter 18 of the Holy Qur’an tells the story of the CAVE SLEEPERS. God had the SLEEPING YOUTHS and their DOG TIME TRANSPORTED 309 YEARS INTO THE FUTURE. “If you have seen the transformation of the youths,” the Qur’an further states, “you would have been terrified and run.” I believe that this particular verse refers to the moment in time when the youths were sucked into a time tunnel (or wormhole). Although they did not end up in another galaxy, THEY WOKE UP INSIDE THE SAME CAVE BUT IN A DIFFERENT PLACE IN TIME 309 LUNAR YEARS INTO THEIR FUTURE.
Chapter 2:259 of the Holy Qur’an tells of a similar story. A traveller doubted in his heart if God could bring back a ruined city (the city of Sodom?), which he was passing through, to its former glory. “But Allah caused him to die a hundred years and then raised him up again. He said: ‘How long did thou tarry?’ Thus he said: ‘Perhaps a day or part of a day.’ He said: ‘Nay, thou hast tarried thus a hundred years. But look at thy food and thy drink; they showed no signs of age, and look at thy donkey: and that we make of thee a sign unto the people.”
For a donkey to stand for 100 years and a dog to sit for 309 years was no joke. I don’t believe God was trying to be funny. Obviously, men and beasts were transported in time, including the traveler’s food and drink. God was simply showing the doubting traveler that if He could bring him a hundred years into the future with his food, drink, and donkey all together, He could also bring back the city to a time before He had it destroyed.
In Matthew 17:1, Jesus and some of his disciples climbed a mountain for a reason that only Jesus knew. A very bright light awakened the disciples while they were sleeping, with Jesus standing between the light and the disciples. The bright light distorted Jesus’ figure, which was later misinterpreted by the writers of the Bible as the Transfiguration of Jesus. Emerging from the light were Prophet Moses and Elijah, who spoke with Jesus. NEITHER OF THE THREE PROPHETS WERE TRANSFIGURED NOR SPIRITUALIZED, or else, the disciples would not have offered to build for each of them a tavern or a shelter to spend the night, meaning they were BODILY PRESENT. Similarly, Moses and Elijah must have traveled in time to Jesus’ place, possibly to deliver a message. It was after this that Jesus continued to tell his disciples that he was going to heaven, but he would return.
THE EXPECTED RETURN OF PROPHET JESUS, PROPHET ELIJAH (May peace be upon them both), AND THE MAHDI (12th Imam of Shi’ia Islam) ARE THE BODIES OF EVIDENCE THAT TIME TRAVEL IS NO FICTION.
Believe it or not, the world we think we know and the beliefs we hold to be true may not be what we think they are. Time travel could be simpler than we think, and the knowledge thereof may truly bring us (as it did the prophets) face to face with our Creator…maybe with a hearty laugh. THE TRUTH IS INDEED EVER STRANGER THAN FICTION.
