By Him on whose hands my soul is; the last hour will not come before wild beasts speak to men. The end of a man’s whip and the thong of his sandal speak to him and his thigh informs him of what his family has done since he left them.

When the prophet saw in a vision people talking on their cellular phones and walkies-talkies with antennas sticking out, he thought of them as talking to their whips. When in the vision; he saw Arabs listening to their walk-mans, MP3s and mobile phones inside their pockets; he thought of them as listening to their thighs and children’s musical/talking shoes as sandals that talks :-)
Although they didn’t know what they were seeing in their visions and dreams; genuine prophets did describe accurately what they saw for our clear understanding. Similarly; when the dreamer of the Book of Revelation (Bible/Apocalypse) saw in the dream 2,000 aircraft over Iraq (Gulf War); he thought of them as locusts over Babylon and went on to describe a locust which is laughably the exact picture of an aircraft. He even described accurately their woman pilots that were allowed to fly combat missions for the first time during the Gulf War.
If you are in doubts that some animals speak/communicate with humans; I suggest you watch discovery channel sometimes.
