When the heaven is cleft asunder; 77:9

These are verses in the Qur’an that absolutely proves; the UNIVERSE IS EXPANDING AT AN ACCELERATING RATE.

One day; galaxies will become so far away that STARS WILL DIM and make the universe so cold that no life form will survive the BIG FREEZE.

Qur’an use of the term “CLEFT ASUNDER” is very similar to “ripping apart of the universe by dark energy” often used by scientists when referring to the expanding universe and yet it is not something modern to Islam. It is in the Qur’an 1,400 years since its revelation.
