I found this 1-minute video strikingly excellent; I thought I would put it in my blog. This is one among many
indisputable proofs that animals, like humans, are endowed with spirit, or why would they have the consciousness to worship and do good? There are many on
YouTube, as well as recorded incidents of animals acting like spiritually
endowed creatures. A dog dragged an injured dog to the roadside in the middle of a busy highway. If you have watched that CCTV video, the
wounded dog actually survived being taken to an animal clinic by human responders. Then there was that cat caught on CCTV in Mecca, where it surreptitiously walked to the Kaaba (while everybody was in prayer, which gave it a chance, or it would have been crushed), touched the Kaaba like believers do, and walked away.
"There is not an
animal in the earth, nor a flying creature flying on two wings, but they are
peoples like unto you. We have neglected nothing in the Book (of our decrees).
Then unto their Lord they will be gathered." (Qur’an 6:38)
"Seest thou not
that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on
earth - the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a
great number among mankind?" (Qur’an 22:18)
