In the last eight years I worked in a private clinic
watching our X-ray tech do abdominal ultrasound for my patients; I have not
seen one kidney like this. “Huh! What’s that?” I blurted out as she maneuvered
the ultra-sound probe over the kidneys. “What?” she asked. “Nothing, I thought
I saw something,” but I discovered afterwards that she took a nice print. I
wanted to keep the print but the old man’s daughter insisted to take the prints.
Several days later; it just crossed my mind that if I Google
search images of a kidney ultrasound, I might find one that looks like what my
patient had.
I found 2 but this one is clearer…
