You honored us then; you honored us now with your visit after
40
years. We never thought of you differently as a family. We didn’t adopt
you; you adopted us.
It is real sad that we were unable to bring you to places
very memorable to you in the six years that you lived in Lanao as a young “peace
corps” volunteer. Life was different then; peaceful, full of hopes, lovely and
serene. Your visit brought back memories of what is pure and beautiful in us
all.
