In the beginning of this 44 minutes National Geographic video; I was virtually laughing at the Americans for their paranoia not to mention being the planet's only military superpower in fact no other comes close to being second or third. I realized though as I watched that more than any other; Filipinos should “PREPARE FOR DOOMSDAY.” Philippine is a nation annually battered by “doomsday scenarios” many times over; earthquakes, typhoons, flash floods, tsunamis, falling earths (landslides) and volcanic eruptions. With the rising seas; many of our islands will vanish and our cities especially Metro Manila will be perpetually flooded. End of the World is a fact of our existence; doomsday survival knowhow should become our national pastime.
