“ALPHA AND THE OMEGA”
(Beginning and the End)
JESUS' SECOND COMING:
Whew…this is the most sensitive topic I hate talking about because I can't
without offending my Christian friends. I found it hard to believe that
Nostradamus saw the anti-Christ in the vision, but not Jesus. He did, but did not openly talk about it, because if he mentioned having seen Jesus and what he represents in the vision, he would have been lynched or burned alive by the Church inquisitors of the time. His prophecies would never have seen the light of day.
What if Muslims are right, regardless of how slim the chance is, and Jesus is telling the truth that he is no God but the Son of Man, a prophet like any other, whose mission is to declare the worship of the one true Almighty God who is in heaven? Jesus, in the Bible, worshipped that God, as did all the Prophets before him and after him (Prophet
Muhammad).
The Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w.)
said that Jesus, at his second coming, would break crosses, get married, have a family, and live with us for 45 years. When he dies, he will be buried beside the Prophet's grave in Medina.
In Mathew 7:21, Jesus speaks
of the second coming in the first person, which is one of the few in the Bible:
7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom
of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to me in
that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have
cast out devils? And in thy name have many wonderful works been done?
7:23 And then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
There is also considerable confusion about who the faithful Jesus is among those who will reappear at the end of times. Will he be the one wielding a sword and riding a white horse, followed by the soldiers in heaven, or the one who will come like a thief in the cover of the night, or the light descending from the sky?
I find it mind-boggling that
Christians can misread a clearly stated verse in the Bible where they attribute
to Jesus for having said…I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA. Jesus never (neither while
he walked among men nor in the Dream Book of Revelation) claimed to be the “beginning
and the end.” It was God, the Almighty, sitting on the throne, who said it…NOT THE
LAMB (Jesus). The book of Revelation very clearly identified the almighty God seated on the throne in the presence of the 24 elders, 4 beasts, and the Lamb
(Jesus).
Revelation 21: 5-6
21:5 He who was seated on the
throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write
this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." 21:6 He said to me:
"It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To
him who is thirsty, I will give him a drink without cost from the spring of the
water of life."
With all the major signs of
the end times fulfilled…Saturday, December 22, 2012 (the day after) may not
mark the beginning of a new Mayan calendar…IT COULD BE THE BEGINNING OF
THE END…FINISH.
…or it
could be simply the end of everything we thought we knew.
We very often express "the End-of-the-World-as-we-know-it," meaning that there is a flip side to it: "the beginning-of-the-world-as-we-didn't know it."
The return of Jesus, whether amid human upheaval or quietly in the company of many others, will almost certainly change the way we view the universe. It will revolutionize
our perceptions of God and the world as we know it, especially our understanding of faith, time travel, our role (as a grain of sand) on the beachfront of the universe, life and death, eternal life, and heaven and hell. Jesus' second coming, per se, will reveal to us the secrets of the universe.
At the end of the day…we
could all be laughing at how naive we had been, so naïve that we cannot even
think beyond the human face. We acknowledge that other beings may be more intelligent and advanced than us, but we cannot assume that they would necessarily be more attractive, so we often project them as ugly-looking, intergalactic creatures. The evolution of an intelligent brain goes naturally with the
evolution of BODY PERFECT. If they are more intelligent than we, then they must be better
looking, but no…GOD CREATED US IN HIS OWN IMAGE, or we created God in our own
glorified-monkey-look-alike images. The human face is the dead end of
human intelligence. Okay…beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but since we cannot perceive something better beyond the human face, it could mean that God had
limited our intelligence only up to a point. The best we can do is give them
(angels) human faces but deface them with wings. After thousands of years, and despite our incredible technological advances, we stubbornly refuse to evolve beyond the primitive mind that anything coming down from the sky must have
wings, so that angels became birdmen. (LOL)
In Islam, man is not created in
the image of God because God's image is incomprehensible. You can only try to
comprehend the majesty of His creations, but you cannot understand His majesty
per se. God's beauty is beyond the human mind to imagine. God is like no other.
Qur'an 112:
1. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
3. He begets not, nor is He begotten;
4. And there is none like unto Him.

Alhamdulillah for the simple mind Allah gave His creations who only believe in His oneness and not attributing anyone in His greatness. Alhamdulillah for all Muslims who only see Allah as the Supreme Being and no one else beside Him!Allahu akbar!Alhamdulillah for all who believe that Jesus (alayhis salam) is but a messenger sent by Allah/God to praise and worship the only Creator of heaven and earth; none other than the only ONE, Allah. Indeed! all praise, honor and glory be to Allah alone!
