This is something that neither you nor I expected or even
suspected. Graham Fuller, author of “A World Without Islam” and a former CIA operative in Central Asia, was once a father-in-law of Tamerlan’s uncle
and lived in his house.
Graham Fuller: “The policy of guiding the evolution of Islam
and of helping them against our adversaries worked marvelously well in
Afghanistan against [the Russians]. The same doctrines can still be used to
destabilize what remains of the Russian power and especially to counter the
Chinese influence in Central Asia.”
(My comment: this is probably the reason why when Russia
informed the CIA of Tamerlan’s possible radicalism during his trip to Russia, the CIA followed it up but didn't do much, hoping or expecting that Tamerlan’s radical activities would be directed against Russia, not the U.S.A. Had Tamerlan
bombed a train in Russia, the USA would have condemned it, but in the depths of their
evil hearts…demons in the White House would have been cheering with joy.)
