FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, JEWS
CONCEALED HIS NAME
For
millennia, the name of Jacob's elder twin brother has been shrouded in mystery
among both Jews and Christians. While Christians may not be aware of this
figure due to a lack of exposure to the Hebrew/OT Bible, even Jewish scholars
have been known to avoid mentioning him. The question arises: why the secrecy?
Contrary to
popular belief, Ishmael and Isaac were not the primary sources of tension in
the biblical narrative. Rather, the true conflict lay between Isaac's twin
sons, Esau and Jacob. The enigma deepens when we consider that Esau married
Mahalath, one of Ishmael's daughters, to please his father, Isaac. Why would
his father, Isaac, be happy if he and Ishmael had animosity?
A shocking
revelation emerges when we turn to Deuteronomy18:17-22, where God promises to
raise up a Prophet like Moses from among the brethren of the Israelites. While
Muslims have traditionally interpreted this prophecy as referring to Muhammad
through Ishmael, the brother of Isaac, I realized that the term
"brethren" actually points to Esau, Jacob's elder twin brother,
meaning prophet Muhammad carried the bloodline of both sons of Abraham,
Ishmael, and Isaac. No wonder Jews concealed what could seal with absolute
certainty the prophethood of Muhammad.
The
implications of this revelation are profound, suggesting that Muhammad's
prophethood is implicitly acknowledged through Esau's marriage to Ishmael's
daughter. For centuries, the Jewish tradition has carefully avoided mentioning
Esau, perhaps out of a desire to protect this hidden truth. The interwoven
connections between these biblical figures challenge conventional views and
offer a new perspective on the shared heritage of Islam, Judaism, and
Christianity.
