It is hard to imagine that the following verses were written
1,400 years ago. It is easier to comprehend the moon being rent asunder or the earth shaken to its core. Still, the idea of the stars dimming and the heavens being rent asunder is something we accept, despite its impossibility, simply because God says so. space thereof.’
Qur’an 77: 7-9 “Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to
pass.. (7) Then when the stars become dim; (8) When the heaven is cleft asunder;
