I was very wrong if I thought Professor Bart Ehrman was one of a kind for being brutally frank. The number of Christian scholars/theologians
coming forward to speak their minds is growing in numbers. They don’t mince
words. They have no qualms about calling a spade a spade. Professor Bart Ehrman’s
definition of the difference between an atheist and a Gnostic: an atheist’s disbelief
in God is based on belief/faith. In contrast, a Gnostic disbelief is based on knowledge.
I wonder how many Christians there are whose beliefs are based on knowledge, not
on blind faith. Ignorance will be of no excuse on Judgment Day…
Because this is a documentary that is more than two hours long, I cut out the 7-minute conclusion, but I have embedded the full length for those who find the time. Being a minority in the Philippines, Muslims will always find themselves swimming in a sea of Christians. While it pays to be knowledgeable of your own faith, it also pays to know the beliefs of those around you.
