I heard from the mouth of Gen. Collen Powell on CNN that the US government channeled through Osama bin Laden 3 billion dollars in cash and weapons to fight the Russians in Afghanistan and in the build up to invade Iraq; Powell said that they knew Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction because “WE GAVE IT TO HIM.” Looking back and in relation to the present crises in Syria; it was a blatant admission that USA provided Saddam Hussein the weapons of mass destruction (Chemical) that he used to slaughter the Kurds and the Iranians during the Iran-Iraq war. What Powell pretended not to know was that Saddam Hussein was telling the truth when he said that he had destroyed his Chemical Weapons in accordance with the UN demand after the Gulf War I.
