And you have probably seen this one: Israel is the nation most often
mentioned in the Bible.

But do you know which nation is second?
It is Iraq!
However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible.
The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia.
The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between
the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.

The name Iraq means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq and also; his is something to think about: Since America is typically represented by an eagle.

Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages ...

The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible)

Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle.. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle
cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

I ALMOST BELIEVED IT...

The Qur’anic verse 9:11quoted is not true…somebody made it up. It sounds more like a Nostradamus prophecy. The correct one is here. All the rest about Iraq and Babylon is right at least to my knowledge…

Qur’an 9:11 (Asad) Yet if they repent, and take to prayer, and render the purifying dues, they become your brethren in faith: [17] and clearly do We spell out these messages unto people of [innate] knowledge!

(There is no resemblance even remotely to the above prankster quote…LOL!)

THESE ARE GENUINE NOSTRADAMUS PROPHECIES…

“The long awaited one will never come into Europe
Instead he will appear in Asia
One issued from the great leagues of Hermes
He will dominate over all the rulers of the orient.”
Nostradamus X.75

Jesus undoubtedly is "the long awaited one" meaning Nostradamus saw Jesus in the vision but didn't call him name. If he had; he would have been lynched by the inquisitor of the time and his prophecies would have never seen the light of day because according to the rest of the prophecies; Jesus will unite the Muslims of Africa and Asia and invade Christian Europe for the final battle between the forces of good and evil.

One who is ugly, wicked and infamous will come to power,
And tyrannize all of MESOPOTAMIA
He will make friends by seducing them,
And the land will be made horribly black by destruction.
Nostradamus VIII, 70

The above prophecy obviously referred to Bush. After withdrawing from Iraq; Prime Minister Asnar of Spain claimed that he was seduced by President Bush into joining the “Coalition of the Willing.” Yes; ‘seduced’ was the exact word he used :-)
