US and UK Drowned Iraq in Blood: Barbarian Rhapsody Anniversary...

To call the [endless] war in Iraq “Gulf War 2” is wrong because the Gulf War of 1991 never ended. Saddam’s Iraq was continuously bombed, some of which were major, meaning Cities were hit, until the so-called “Coalition of the Willing” invaded it in 2003. The number 666 (UN Resolution 666) is a code that likely marks the beginning of the End, not necessarily of planet Earth, but of Babylon [Iraq]. Twenty years on, and the battle is still spilling blood on the streets of Babylon. The USA’s longest war is not the war in Afghanistan; it is Iraq. Yesterday, a bomb [March 16] marking the anniversary of the Gulf War 2 killed more than 60 and wounded many others. THE DESTRUCTION OF BABYLON IS FAR FROM OVER.

US and UK Drowned Iraq in Blood
Barbarian Rhapsody: Ten Years Deeper Into Hell

By Chris Floyd

March 16, 2013 "Information Clearing House" -"Empire Burlesque" -  All forms of political media -- in print, on line, on the air -- have been awash in recent weeks with retrospectives on the tenth anniversary of the American-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003. Amidst the mountainous heap of drivel and falsehood such an occasion inevitably produces among the vast and vapid army of analysts who happily spend their days chewing the cud of whatever happens to be the conventional wisdom of the day, there have been a few outstanding pieces that put this continuing war crime in stark perspective.

SNIP:

"In Iraq, the US record speaks for itself: it backed Saddam's party, the Ba'ath, to capture power in 1963, murdering thousands of socialists, communists and democrats; it backed the Ba'ath party in 1968 when Saddam was installed as vice-president; it helped him and the Shah of Iran in 1975 to crush the Kurdish nationalist movement; it increased its support for Saddam in 1979…helping him launch his war of aggression against Iran in 1980; it backed him throughout the horrific eight years of war (1980 to 1988), in which a million Iranians and Iraqis were slaughtered, in the full knowledge that he was using chemical weapons and gassing Kurds and Marsh Arabs; it encouraged him in 1990 to invade Kuwait…; it backed him in 1991 when Bush [senior] suddenly stopped the war, exactly 24 hours after the start of the great March uprising that engulfed the south and Iraqi Kurdistan…"

But when it was no longer in their interests to back him, the US and UK drowned Iraq in blood.

Warring sectarian and ethnic forces, either allied to or fearing US influence, dominate the dysfunctional and corrupt Iraqi state institutions, but the US embassy in Baghdad – the biggest in the world – still calls the shots. Iraq is not really a sovereign state, languishing under the punitive Chapter VII of the UN charter.

TALK TO AL JAZEERA: (MILF) Murad Ibrahim…

I have written extensively about the Moro struggle; in fact, many of my friends will remember how I opposed the single-minded battle for Independence. Some even accused me of being unpatriotic to the Moro cause, but I have insisted on my being a realist. My favorite metaphor was to aim for the star, but I will be content if I catch the moon instead, and I think that is precisely what the MILF did. I have always maintained a give-and-take approach in which the movement accepts some form of federalized autonomy but not independence. I have always maintained (if my friends remember) that the ARMM is the only piece of Mindanao that the government is capable of giving away. Either take it and turn it into something, or get nothing and keep on fighting an endless war. Had Nur Misuari turned ARMM into something when it was handed to him on a silver platter, the struggle would have ended with him, but he failed and failed miserably. For him to be a spoiler now is treason. Realism finally wins the day :-)

Qur’an staggering truth: “ISLAM WILL OVERCOME ALL OTHER DEEN (faith)”

Those who fear Islam have every reason to worry and be very afraid. Christian evangelists who have for decades virtually waged war against Islam are one by one succumbing to age and fading into oblivion without accomplishing their mission. They failed miserably because the more they attack Islam, calling it names from being an evil religion and women beaters to blood thirsty terrorists, it achieved the opposite because with technology that made knowledge just a click away…the truth of Islam spreads unstoppable like a wildfire. Your lies and falsehoods cannot win against the truth. Thank you, ex-President Bush, and your “neocons of evil knights” for 9/11, because without it, knowledge of Islam would not have boomed the way it did, like a nuclear bomb whose echo continues to circle around the globe. Whatever your evil cause was, it crumbled with the Twin Towers. You have to admit that God is a better planner [Qur’an] :-)

WARRIOR OF LIGHT: An Arab creation legend

In his book El Libro del Fantasma, Alejandro Dolina associates the story of sand with one of the Arab people's creation legends.

He writes that, as soon as they had finished building the world, one of the angels pointed out to the Almighty that they had forgotten to put sand on Earth; a grave mistake, considering that humans would be forever deprived of walking alongside the seas, massaging their tired feet, and enjoying the feel of the ground. Apart from that, the river beds would always be jagged and rocky, and architects could not use this vital material; the footsteps of lovers would be invisible. To remedy the situation, God sent the Archangel Gabriel with a large bag to pour sand into all the necessary places.

Gabriel made the beaches and river beds, and when he returned to heaven carrying what was left over, the Enemy—always alert and ready to ruin the Almighty's work—managed to bore a hole in the bag, which split, spilling its entire contents. This happened in the place we now call Arabia, and almost the whole region became a vast desert.

Gabriel was distressed and went to apologize to the Lord for having allowed the Enemy to come near him unnoticed. And God, in His infinite wisdom, decided to compensate the Arab people for His messenger’s involuntary error.

He made them a sky filled with stars, like no other in the whole world, so that they should always look up. He created the turban, which - under the desert sun - is worth more than a crown. He made the tent, allowing people to travel from one place to another and be surrounded by new landscapes, all without the burdensome obligations of maintaining palaces. He taught the people to forge the best steel for making swords. He made the camel. He formed the finest race of horses. And he gave them something even more precious than all the other things together: the word, the genuine gold of all Arabs. While other people shaped metal and stone, the people of Arabia learned to shape the world. There, the poet became the Bedouins' high priest, judge, doctor, and chief. His verses are powerful: they can bring joy, sadness, and health. They can unfurl acts of revenge and war, unite lovers, and reproduce the songs of birds.

Alejandro Dolina concludes:

“The errors of God, like those of great artists or of true lovers, bring forth so many joyful rewards that at times it is worth wishing for them.”

Comment:

The word became the Qur’an that no mortal can equal in the beauty of its expressive poetry.

Oil is another compensation that the writer forgot about, but oops! Oil was not only useless at the time; it was also unknown when the legend was written. It is this compensation, like a magic wand, that transformed the Arabian landscapes, turning tents into mansions and palaces, horses and camels into luxury cars, and gazing at the stars at night into gazing at mobile phones, laptops, and monster LCD televisions.

Love the story :-) NLK.

THE SAINT (Francis) AND THE SULTAN (Malik)...CRUSADE

Since the election of the new pope and assuming the name of “Francis I;” books written about Saint Francis suddenly burst into the fore with some making the headlines while others coming second and down the line. He lived so far back in our time; very little do we know of the man and the saint but wow…he did live in very interesting times and the new pope made a right a choice if only to resurrect the saint’s life so relevant in our time.

Book Description
Release date: September 29, 2009
An intriguing examination of the extraordinary–and little known meeting between St. Francis of Assisi and Islamic leader Sultan Malik Al-Kamil that has strong resonance in today's divided world.

For many of us, St. Francis of Assisi is known as a poor monk and a lover of animals. However, these images are sadly incomplete, because they ignore an equally important and more challenging aspect of his life -- his unwavering commitment to seeking peace. In The Saint and the Sultan, Paul Moses recovers Francis' s message of peace through the largely forgotten story of his daring mission to end the crusades.

In 1219, as the Fifth Crusade was being fought, Francis crossed enemy lines to gain an audience with Malik al-Kamil, the Sultan of Egypt. The two talked of war and peace and faith and when Francis returned home, he proposed that his Order of the Friars Minor live peaceably among the followers of Islam–a revolutionary call at a moment when Christendom pinned its hopes for converting Muslims on the battlefield.

The Saint and the Sultan captures the lives of St. Francis and Sultan al-Kamil and illuminates the political intrigue and religious fervor of their time. In the process, it reveals a startlingly timely story of interfaith conflict, war, and the search for peace. More than simply a dramatic adventure, though it does not lack for colorful saints and sinners, loyalty and betrayal, and thrilling Crusade narrative, The Saint and the Sultan brings to life an episode of deep relevance for all who seek to find peace between the West and the Islamic world.

Absolute proofs moon landing was a HOAX

I was at one time reading a scientific journal where a team of scientist explained why it is not yet possible to send human missions neither to the moon nor to Mars. The following reasons stuck to my mind because it shocked me beyond words: 1) No suit has yet been invented that will protect astronauts from killer radiation through the “Van Allen Radiation belt” that surrounds earth far out in space. It will fry humans even inside their spaceships passing through the radiation belt. 2) NASA doesn't have the technology to land a man on the moon or Mars and fly him out. Any journey to Mars will have to be a one way trip. And in another article; it says that the moon is covered with cosmic dust between 3 to 6 feet thick that will virtually sink an astronaut and so fine it will plug and stick to machines. It is shocking because the Apollo missions were like a walk in the park. If they did it repeatedly in 1969; why can’t they do it now with technology even far advanced than in 1969 unless the Apollo moon landings were faked?
