BELIEVERS vs. UNBELIEVERS: it’s time to divide the world…

What the USA is doing is dividing the world. It is self-evident. There will come a time when the oppressed people of the planet will say Enough is enough. The Muslims have proven in the so-called “Arab Spring” that they are capable of getting rid of oppressive dictators, and if need be, they are willing to kill and die for freedom and liberty because in Islam, it is better to be slaughtered than to be oppressed. “Give me liberty or give me death” is a Western motto that has been taught in Islam from the time of its birth. When ex-President Bush declared that “EITHER YOU ARE WITH US OR YOU ARE WITH THE ENEMY,” he set the tone for the future of human relations. The world, whether we like it or not, is now divided between the “BELIEVERS AND UNBELIEVERS;” either you are with the Beast of Empire or you are with God; justice or injustice, and those Muslims who ally themselves with the unbelieving beasts will have their day of reckoning.

US threatens Pakistan with sanctions over gas pipeline deal with Iran

The US State Department has threatened Islamabad with sanctions if the country goes through with a joint multi-billion-dollar gas pipeline project with Iran.

The threats came on the same day as the inauguration of the final construction phase of the multi-billion-dollar Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline, intended to carry natural gas from Iran to its eastern neighbor. 

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari attended the ceremony on the Iran-Pakistan border on Monday.

SWISS POLITICIAN EMBRACES ISLAM...

This one particularly caught my attention due to its close resemblance to Geert Wilder’s (Dutch) party member converting to Islam despite the party’s feeding on anti-Muslim rhetoric that gives it life. Daneil Streich is a Swiss politician who discovered Islam while his government was actively pushing for the ban on “mosque minaret” in Switzerland. (3 minutes video clip)

Staggering statistics shows that 68,000 convert/revert to Islam every 24 hours and by 2050; there will be 2.2 billion Muslims in the world. 1/5 of Earth’s populations now are Muslims and by 2050; ¼ it will be and this statistics worry non-Muslims of the possible consequences :-) for the future of the world.

BREAKING MY SILENCE: My personal take on the Sabah claim…

Followers of my blog are wondering why I have not said a word about the current sad situation, although I will not call it a meaningless confrontation in Sabah. What is pointless is the loss of lives that was absolutely unnecessary. It was a war of choice that they could have walked away from once they made their point. Sultan Kiram III is not only a friend, a neighbor, and a tennis partner, but his daughter was also my son’s classmate in elementary and High School. I wish him well. I hope something positive comes out of this.

MY PERSONAL TAKE:

People who want to stay in the news, most likely political opponents of P-Noy, are blaming the government for not sending in the Philippine Marines. It is perhaps what the Royal Army of the Sultan expected the government to do, but we are a government of sensible men. There is nothing here that I could say which has not already been said about the legality of the Sultan’s claim.

Let us be real:

1)   Owning a property in another country does not transfer ownership to one’s own country.

2)  1963 is not really that far back in time. When the British granted Independence to Malaysia in 1963, Singapore opted to stay out of the federation. That was the right time for the heirs of the sultanate of Sulu (with the help of the Philippine government) to stake its claim. Although some accommodation could have been made, I haven’t found any evidence that a claim was made to Britain during that time. Can you blame Malaysia now?

3)  Sabah was never a part of an Independent Philippine Republic.

4)  When the USA granted the Philippines its independence in 1945, the sultan of Sulu could have given the USA/Philippines (in writing) the rights to its properties in Sabah, which was at the time a colony of the British Empire. It was the end of World War II, and given the good relations between the USA and Britain, not to mention having fought side by side with the Filipino Guerrillas, Sabah could have really been included in the newly independent Philippine Republic. Sayang na Sayang…

5)   Sabah may have been a part of the Sultanate of Sulu, but the Sultanate of Sulu is not the Republic of the Philippines.

6)   The best that the heirs of the Sultan of Sulu can do is demand recognition of their rights from the government of Malaysia. I think the government of Malaysia will offer them dual citizenship, which is not unusual; in fact, Malaysia allows them to come and go as they please. Some of them are permanently living in Sabah. When Malaysia’s spokesperson was asked by Al Jazeera on “Inside Story” why the Malaysian government allowed these armed men to enter Sabah in the first place, the answer was: “We allowed them to come and go as they please for many, many years now.”  That answer is a de facto recognition of their rights to the land (out of Malaysia’s sense of good neighborliness). Close to a million of them are living in Malaysia, so why rock the boat sailing on a sea of tranquility? Beware of politicians...

Geert Wilder is probably Europe’s most anti-Muslim politician. In fact, his political party thrives on this hate. Anti-Muslim nations like the USA and Israel welcome him like a head of state whenever he is invited to deliver ( like a rabid dog) his anti-Islam/anti-Muslim rhetoric. Still, as the Qur’an says, the enemies (of Islam) plan, and God also plans, but God is a better planner.” When 9/11 happened, everybody wanted to know about Islam. With the advent of the internet/web that brought knowledge/information to our fingertips, knowledge of Islam boomed like a nuclear explosion. Technology is the engine propelling the second rise of Islam, following the first few centuries of its birth when Islam’s Empire of Faith conquered most of Asia, North Africa, and parts of Europe.

Doorn’s decision to embrace Islam has won mixed reactions in the Netherlands.

“According to some people, I am a traitor, but according to most others, I have actually made a very good decision,” he told Aljazeera.

“The reactions are generally positive, and I also received quite some support via Twitter.

“It feels good that people who do not know me personally have an understanding of my situation and support me in my choice.”

For the Dutch politician, finding Islam was finally guiding him to the proper path in his life.

“I have made mistakes in life as many others. From these mistakes, I have learned a lot,” Doorn said.

“And by my conversion to Islam, I have the feeling that I finally found my path.

“I realize that this is a new start and that I still have much to learn as well.”

Departing from his earlier life as a PVV member, Doorn expects much resistance in his political life.

“The expectation is that I will continue to face much resistance from certain government institutions,” he said.

“I have all faith in Allah to support and guide me through these moments.”
