WHO WILL FIGHT FOR GOD...?

The following piece first appeared at surfingtheapocalypse.net several years ago in response to the cartoons of the Prophet that stirred trouble across the Muslim world when they were published in some European countries. The latest of this affront against Islam is the movie that I just read in the papers, which is causing uproar in Muslim nations, with the first casualty no less than the USA’s ambassador to Libya. The assault on the USA’s embassy may be fueled by the suppressed but simmering anger of Libyans against the USA/NATO bombing of Libya in the recent Libyan upheaval that led to the downfall and brutal murder of Gaddafi. Only the USA has to blame for its ambassador’s death; it must be prepared for more. 

Those who live by the sword will die by the sword…

If you offend someone, especially with evil intent, you must be prepared for the consequences. The Muslims' response to the cartoon blasphemies is not blown out of proportion. It is what the publishers expected. Remember, it was first published in September, but why the Muslims' wrath only now if not for those European countries who published it again for no other reason than to stir trouble. THEY GOT EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE ASKING FOR.

In spite of the worldwide protests, a French paper published it again and for what reason except to taunt the Moslems and put their paper on the news for a free promotion ride. THEY MUST BE MAD AND THEY CALL MOSLEMS TERRORISTS? If you make a hobby of stirring the hornet’s nest, THE EVILS THAT BREED TERRORISM WILL NEVER GO AWAY.

SOMETIMES, YOU SLAP SOMEONE LIGHTLY ON THE FACE AND YOU GET SMASHED IN THE NOSE.

IF MOSLEMS DID NOT RESPOND IN KIND, MORE OF IT WILL COME. The Muslims' response is absurd, said an editor of one European publishing house.

IT IS THE ABSURDITY OF OTHER PEOPLE’S IGNORANCE OF ISLAM THAT IS FUELING THE CLASH OF CIVILIZATIONS. IF MOSLEMS WILL NOT DEFEND AND FIGHT FOR GOD AND HIS PROPHETS, WHO WILL?

You can ridicule Muslim Kings, Presidents, imams, muftis, and whoever you fancy, but NOT GOD AND HIS PROPHET. IT IS HERE THE RED LINE IS DRAWN. If Muslims can have their way, THEY WILL TELL CHRISTIANS TO STOP THEIR BLASPHEMIES AGAINST JESUS AND ALL THE OTHER BIBLICAL PROPHETS, BUT PLEASE, DO NOT DO UNTO THE MOSLIMS WHAT THEY DO NOT DO UNTO YOU.

Muslims take their RELIGION VERY SERIOUSLY, AND THE LEAST OTHERS CAN DO IN THE NAME OF PEACE AND HARMONY IS TO RESPECT THEM FOR THAT. LEAVE THEM ALONE, PLEASE! IT IS A SMALL DEMAND THAT WILL KEEP THE PEACE…

"As we remember the victims, their families, and the heroes who stood up during one of our country's darkest moments, I invite all Americans to reclaim that abiding spirit of compassion by serving their communities in the days and weeks ahead," Obama said in a proclamation released Monday by the White House.

Take note of the street lights still standing in the center of the photo above. A jetliner hitting the Pentagon at ground level would knock down the lamp posts…IMPOSSIBLE. 

The evidence is overwhelming; I don’t see how even a tiny mind will see it differently. The American people know, maybe not then, but they know it now. Every September 11, America remembers and reasserts the lie. Rarely, if ever, do they even acknowledge the aftermath of the beast going berserk that killed, disabled, orphaned, and widowed millions of innocents and destroyed Muslim nations almost beyond repair. These are nations that had nothing to do (Iraq/Afghanistan) with the events of 9/11; absolutely nothing. They cannot even charge the only man (OBL) they accused of masterminding the event because of a lack of evidence. They just have to kill an unarmed old man to seal his lips forever; “Dead men tell no tales.”

The American people have to keep believing the lie to appease their sense of guilt and remorse because the aftermath is beyond the acceptable scope of evil they can live with.

How will their conscience ever come to level with the damage inflicted upon others for a lie that saw the destruction of Muslim nations, violent death, and the destruction of millions of innocent men, women, and children, leaving behind millions of orphans and widows?

The events of 9/11 are mind-boggling and demonic. It truly boggles the mind how its perpetrators can even sleep at night. It is pure evil; it is raw, unfiltered evil.

Huh! It was not Clinton stupid (just an expression); it was IT. The American people and to a large extent; then president Clinton owe it to IBM, Microsoft, Apple Computers, Yahoo, Google and the whole industry spurred by the PC and the advent of the Internet. Bill Clinton was lucky that he was the president at a time that the world changing information technology soared to dizzying heights that truly transformed not only the USA’s economy but that of Europe and Asia. It was Silicon Valley that transformed the way we live in a way unequalled in all of history and pushed the US economy to greater heights that sorry to say eventually went bust. True: if there is anyone that should hang for the bust…ex-president Bush it is.

The Economy
America’s largest surplus in recent history happened during the Bill Clinton presidency. His eight years in the White House ushered in an era of unprecedented economic growth and job creation. In Bush’s America, the poor and the middle class were hit hardest while the rich were shielded from the economic pain felt throughout the country.
Since Obama was elected president in 2008, his administration has slowly and painstakingly been turning the economy around. The ever-increasing job losses left by the Bush administration have slowed to a trickle under Obama, so that now we are actually seeing consistent job gains in the private sector, quarter after quarter after quarter. For the Philippines, this has translated into ever-increasing remittances from Fil-Ams living and working in America.

Mustapha Akkad and the making of “THE MESSAGE”

In my desire to mention Mustapha Akkad, I needed to make a few clicks on Google search that confused me, because I had thought for a long time that Mustapha Akkad was the creator of Friday the 13th, based on a magazine article I read in the very early 80s. Either the writer was confused, or I misread the article. It was the “Halloween” series, not the “Friday the 13th” series, that he created, but there was another. I am sure I was right and Wiki was wrong.

According to Wikipedia, Mustapha Akkad produced and directed “Muhammad, Messenger of God,” which in some countries was shown as “The Message” in 1976, while “Halloween” was created in 1978. It is not possible because, according to the article I read, Mustapha Akkad created and produced the “Halloween” movie independently with 60,000 dollars, which was the only money he had. Surprisingly, it became a hit, netting him $6 million, and in the 60s and 70s, $6 million was a considerable amount.

He became an instant celebrity in Hollywood, which eventually led to the making of “The Message” and “The Lion of the Desert,” meaning the Halloween movie came first. It was a flagship to get noticed.

He used the money he earned from “Halloween” to make “The Message.”

Very ironic and sad; he was killed along with his daughter and other guests while attending a wedding reception at a hotel in Amman, Jordan, in 2005 by a suicide bomber.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius is no peacenik. He's hardline for direct Western intervention against Syria. His no-fly zone/safe haven advocacy means war if either or both are instituted.

At the same time, he warns about attacking Iran. "I think that if there were an Israeli attack, unfortunately it could come back to haunt Israel," he said.

"I am absolutely opposed to the idea that Iran would gain nuclear weapons," he said, "but I think if there was an Israeli attack," Tehran will be victimized and gain legitimacy.

Britain's defense establishment Royal United Services Institute director Michael Clarke says there's "no basis in international law for preventative, rather than preemptive, war." 

There's no basis for either except when clear evidence shows foreign forces mobilized for attack.

Israeli borders aren't threatened. Iran supports peace, not war. Its nuclear program is legal and non-military. It fully complies with NPT provisions.

Those issues deserve daily headlines. Don't expect warmongering media to feature them.

The American people are fatigued by 21 years of war (1991 to the present); it will be political suicide for any president to engage in another major one that can be more devastating than Iraq and Afghanistan combined. Even assuming that Iran is making the bomb, going to war is not simply worth it. What are a few more bombs to the thousands already in a state of readiness around the world? It makes no sense to go to war to stop someone from making it, especially if all indications show the non-existence of proof and consistent denial of the accused, not to mention that the accusers are known to be pathological liars.

Amid Israel’s war rhetoric against Iran, the United States has sent a message to the Islamic Republic, stating that Washington would not support Tel Aviv in case of any possible unilateral strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.

Top officials at US President Barack Obama's administration have sent the confidential message to Iran a few days ago via two European governments, announcing that the US would not support Israel if it decided to carry out a “unilateral and without coordination” attack on Iran, the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronotreported. 

The daily added that the US aims to prevent an Iranian attack on the US installations in the Persian Gulf, where it has deployed aircraft carriers and has several military bases. 

Israel’s political officials have noted that the US move is an indication of more strained ties between Washington and Tel Aviv.
