The US-Iran Economic War : A WINDFALL OF CASH FOR THE ARABS :-)
Obama in another article has submitted to congress
requesting to increase the 1.2 trillion dollars limit it can borrow to cover
deficit meaning the U.S. economy is still in the doldrums. This will further increase
USA’s debt of more than 16.2 trillion dollars and yet this beast is bullying
other nations not to buy Iran’s oil threatening to punish countries paying oil
through Iran’s Central Bank. Oil prices are soaring putting more pressure on
the world’s economy especially of developing countries while USA/EUROPE becomes
an EMPIRE DEBTOR. If Iran survives this embargo; it will turn out to be a
blessing in disguise because oil doesn’t get spoiled unlike an organic matter. It
can’t be denied we have reached the age of “peak oil” meaning oil is running
out. They have to pump sea water into some oil fields in the gulf to push the
remaining oil out not to mention resorting to oil fracking in USA that is proving
to be an environmental hazard. Embargoing Iran’s oil is comparable to ‘forced
hoarding’ for a better price in the future…believe it or not. While the west suffocates
under mounting debts; Arab oil producing nations are buried under mountains of
cash not knowing what to do with the extra cash but ah; they are spending 123 billion
dollars to build roads, bridges and railroads across the Arabian Peninsula. God
is still the better planner :-)
QUOTE:
The
bottom line is that average Iranians will suffer - as average, crisis-hit,
indebted Europeans will also suffer. The US economy will suffer. And whenever
it feels the West is getting way too hysterical, Tehran will keep reserving the
right to send oil prices skyrocketing.
The regime in
Tehran will keep selling oil, will keep enriching uranium and, most of all,
won't fall. Like a Hellfire missile hitting a Pashtun wedding party, these
Western sanctions will miserably fail. But not without collecting a lot of
collateral damage - in the West itself.
The US-Iran Economic War
By Pepe Escobar
By Pepe Escobar
January 06, 2011 "Asia Times" -- NEW YORK - Here's a crash course on how to further wreck the global economy.
A key amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act signed by United States President Barack Obama on the last day of 2011 - when no one was paying attention - imposes sanctions on any countries or companies that buy Iranian oil and pay for it through Iran's central bank. Starting this summer, anybody who does it is prevented from doing business with the US.
This amendment - for all practical purposes a declaration of economic war - was brought to you by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), on direct orders of the Israeli Torrents of spin have tried to rationalize it as the Obama administration's plan B as opposed to letting the Israeli dogs of war conduct an unilateral attack on Iran over its supposed nuclear weapons program.
Yet the original Israeli strategy was in fact even more hysterical - as in effectively preventing any country or company from paying for imported Iranian oil, with the possible exceptions of China and India. On top of it, American Israel-firsters were trying to convince anyone this would not result in relentless oil price hikes.
Once again displaying a matchless capacity to shoot themselves in their Ferragamo-clad feet, governments in the European Union (EU) are debating whether or not to buy oil from Iran anymore. The existential doubt is should we start now or wait for a few months. Inevitably, like death and taxes, the result has been - what else - oil prices soaring. Brent crude is now hovering around $114, and the only way is up.

Energy Wars 2012
They call it an Iranian bluff in this article but hey; if USA is insane enough to contemplate bombing Iran for Israel; what will stop Iran from responding in kind? Iran in case of war will not think twice from bombing oil fields, depot and oil facilities across the Gulf owned by Sunni Sheikhdoms. These are allies of USA and are therefore legitimate targets. IT IS NOT AN IRANIAN BLUFF; IT IS DETERRENT as in attack me if you dare.
Energy Wars 2012
The Three Top Hot Spots of Potential Conflict in the Geo-Energy Era
By Michael T. Klare
January 11, 2012 "Information Clearing House" --- Welcome to an edgy world where a single incident at an energy “chokepoint” could set a region aflame, provoking bloody encounters, boosting oil prices, and putting the global economy at risk. With energy demand on the rise and sources of supply dwindling, we are, in fact, entering a new epoch -- the Geo-Energy Era -- in which disputes over vital resources will dominate world affairs. In 2012 and beyond, energy and conflict will be bound ever more tightly together, lending increasing importance to the key geographical flashpoints in our resource-constrained world.

Take the Strait of Hormuz, already making headlines and shaking energy markets as 2012 begins. Connecting the Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean, it lacks imposing geographical features like the Rock of Gibraltar or the Golden Gate Bridge. In an energy-conscious world, however, it may possess greater strategic significance than any passageway on the planet. Every day, according to the U.S. Department of Energy, tankers carrying some 17 million barrels of oil -- representing 20% of the world’s daily supply -- pass through this vital artery.

NOSTRADAMUS ILLUSTRATIONS: THE LOST BOOKS
NOSTRADAMUS ILLUSTRATIONS: THE
LOST BOOKS
Take
note of the Serpent in the illustration above. It is a prominent figure in the Nostradamus prophecies, stabbed over the head by a dagger in the figure of a cross, meaning the church, and clamped at the chin by an interlocking crescent (Sunni/Shia) of Islam. Obviously, Islam and Christianity will be allies in the
war against the serpent (Beast).
I
found it strange that in the alleged Illustrations of Nostradamus (Lost
Books)…some of the crescents were interpreted as eclipses. History Channel also missed that some of the crescents were actually two; a bigger one
with a smaller one inward (moon pendant above). It could be referring to the
splitting of the moon (Qur’an) or the SUNNI-SHIA ISLAM bloodletting engineered
by the ZIONISTS/USA? My honest take on this figure is: an interlocking crescent
representing the Sunni and Shiite Islam for whatever reason it might represent.
The
picture above is said to be the last of the illustrations of Nostradamus…THE
WHEEL OF TIME IS EMPTY AND THE BOOK OF LIFE IS BLANK
It's really interesting: the animal is a lamb, referring to the Second Coming that Nostradamus attempted to conceal. He actually saw Jesus in the Second Coming.
The two women are the women of Revelation 12 (Queen of
England) and the fornicating woman (Hillary Clinton) of Revelation 17.
OMG! It’s going to happen in our lifetime. THE NEW JERUSALEM
WILL BE COMPLETED IN 2020!
Western
scholars continue to miss the point. Even the History Channel missed the
interlocking crescents, and although they correctly identified it as the crescent of Islam, they failed to see that there were two, not one, crescents. This interpretation is
very important in light of today's depressing events. If the beasts
and serpents of the world continue to fuel the Sunni/Shia divide, we may see
Nostradamus' prophecies come to be fulfilled in our lifetime.

DOOMSDAY CLOCK: ONE MINUTE CLOSER TO MIDNIGHT
SNIP
The Doomsday Clock came into being in 1947 as a way for atomic scientists to warn the world of the dangers of nuclear weapons. By 1949, it was at three minutes to midnight as the relationship between the United States and the Soviet Union deteriorated. In 1953, after the first test of the hydrogen bomb, the doomsday clockticked to two minutes until midnight.
The Bulletin — and the clock — were at their most optimistic in 1991, when the Cold War thawed and the United States and Russia began cutting their arsenals. That year, the Bulletin set the clock at 17 minutes to midnight.
From then until 2010, however, it was a gradual creep back toward destruction, as hopes of total nuclear disarmament vanished and threats of nuclear terrorism and climate change reared their heads. In 2010, the Bulletin found some hope in arms reduction treaties andinternational climate talks and nudged the minute hand of the Doomsday Clock back to six minutes from midnight from its previous post at five to midnight.

SEVEN REASONS WHY NOT TO BOMB IRAN
Note that in this analysis of why western allies should not
bomb Iran; the analyst have only considered the closure of the Strait of Hormuz
on economic terms not the real possibility that Iran will bomb oil fields and
oil facilities in the Gulf. If the west thinks that Iran will not be that crazy;
think of USA/ISRAEL/NATO as not being that insane to bomb Iran. It goes both
ways not to mention that oil fields across the Persian Gulf are Sunni owned and
allies to the beast of empire. They are enemies to Tehran and are therefore legitimate
targets which are not only easily within reach; they are soft targets. Torching
the Gulf into flame is a deterrent that Iran must use to force the west to back
off. Attack us or we will torch the gulf and kick the world back to the Stone
Age. Arabs can always go back to their tents in the deserts but where will USA
and Europe go…? Will they climb their condo units and skyscrapers?
11. Iran possesses what is likely the most capable military the US has faced in decades.
Lowther explained that Iran is not like Grenada, Panama, Somalia, Haiti, Bosnia, Serbia, Afghanistan or Iraq that the US invaded, adding that in all of these examples, the US military defeated an adversary incapable of competing with the US.
He also noted that the Iranian military is far more competent and capable and after watching the war in Iraq for a decade has a good understanding of US tactics and strategy.
The analyst said Iran's Navy is skilled in littoral combat and may be capable of closing the Strait of Hormuz for sufficient duration to wreak economic havoc. The recent naval exercises by the Iranian navy illustrate a clear strategy that would seek to close the strait while attempting to sink American combat vessels that enter the area. This would result in a significant loss of commercial shipping and cause the price of oil to skyrocket.
