DU30: Maranaw President - THE LUCKY ONE!

Some people are born to be lucky. They don't create; they just fulfill their destinies. The Marawi siege is a perplexing incident that is, whether we like it or not, a lucky shot for the president - most if not all of the country's top terrorist LEADERS and DIE-HARDS (local and foreign) all 700 of them converged in Marawi to what; DIE.

It will take quite sometimes maybe not in the term of DU30, for the terror group to reorganize as a potent force – again.

The siege although it was very expensive in terms of lives lost and property damaged; it was probably worth it in terms of the longer effect – redrawing Marawi city’s geography, bringing change to people’s attitudes, eradicating the menace of drugs and corruption that infected the Maranaws to the core - curses that no one thought will ever cease.

The siege although it was very expensive in terms of the military casualties in the side of the government – it boosted DU30’s international stature coming to an end by the time the ASEAN leaders and the world’s superpowers converged in Manila. Lucky, you, Mr. President. Even USA praised the AFP for the handling of the war against the ISIS in Marawi.

Like it or not, the AFP was a big winner in the Marawi siege. To kill 700 terrorists in a scenario of jungle warfare will take decades. We saw it in the Mindanao rebellion that began in the 70s and nobody wins.

…but this is the good one for the last!

The Marawi siege overshadowed the DU30’s war on drugs. The government’s critics were left without an audience. They were left talking to each other’s and if there were killings; it was overshadowed by the horrific war in Marawi. Even the Bishop’s sponsored prayer rally flopped with maybe few thousands attending not the millions reminiscent of the People’s power led by the late Cardinal Sin.

MY WISH MY DREAM FOR MARAWI

GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!

It is no longer maybe; now is the time to build our dreams. If we can’t change our ways, Allah will change them in a way that is beyond our comprehension. Before the siege, not many Filipinos knew where Marawi City was. It is now on the world map, and most, if not all, Filipinos of the right age know where it is.

After getting out of bed at 9 in the morning (My work begins at 12 pm), I watch “Early Edition” recorded in my TFC.TV while eating a light breakfast. It flashed a portion of “Headstart,” where the guest is Duterte’s anointed czar for rebuilding Marawi. I changed the channel immediately.

Quotes:

“Ramon Ang of San Miguel will build/donate 2,500 houses.”

“We will build a dry and wet market at the destroyed commercial center.”

“Those whose houses were destroyed but were squatting on government lands will receive 210,000 pesos.”

“The government will spend 5 billion in 2017 and 10 billion in 2018 while more expenditures will be determined later.”

“We will build more roads. The 2-lane roads will be rebuilt as 4 lanes. We will build parks on both sides of the river where squatters used to live.”

“We have plans to preserve at least 3 places of the destroyed city as a constant reminder that it should never happen again in Marawi or anywhere else in the country.”

“MARAWI CITY will be a Mindanao tourist destination.”

…my wish, my dream for Marawi, is taking shape!

Marawi City and Iligan City are so close to each other (37 km without traffic) that people of Marawi drive down to Ilagan City to buy fish, buy meds at Mercury Drug, watch movies, sip coffee at Dunkin Doughnut, and treat the children at Jollibee. Iligan is Marawi’s shopping center.

If security can be eradicated as a threat and the plans for Marawi become a reality, the trend can be reversed.

People of Iligan will drive 20-30 minutes to the highlander city if only to enjoy the cool weather, sip coffee overlooking Lake Lanao, and walk in the park along the river that runs down to Iligan’s famous Maria Christina Falls. Take a boat ride around the lake for hours of utmost natural wonder. On weekends, people of Iligan can drive to Marawi and play tennis or Golf at the Mindanao State University or jog/walk on the Campus with an overlook view of the City and the Lake.

…or the people of Iligan can simply take the short ride to Marawi, if only to listen to the sounds of the rain or get lost in the fog.

You better believe it!

This is another dream that has always been in the back of my mind long before the Marawi siege. Imagine creating a canal several meters wide from the lake to the foothill of the Mindanao State University, traversing 2-3 km of farmlands. You would build the entire area into a beautiful canal city… MSU would get direct access to the lake.

WOW! Did I just solve the mysteries of ancient Egypt?

Staggering prophetic symbolism…note the uniformity of the obvious cell phones, but the depicted pictures inside are different compared to the rest of the look-alike engravings on the wall, telling us without ambiguity what they are—smartphones!

Obviously, most of the Egyptian monuments and writings on the walls were created by a 3D printing machine. I was virtually laughing when I realized this. Notice the repetitive, look-alike monuments, as if they were clones of each other perfectly and smoothly? No human hands, regardless of how good one is, especially with crude tools, can accomplish this. It is simply impossible.

Is it possible that even the pyramids were 3D printed? Why not? It's a technology that is no longer fiction. We are building houses, cars, and bridges with 3D printers. Human space travelers of the future will bring with them only 3D printers to produce what they need on the spot wherever they may find themselves. Did alien Space/Time travelers bring with them advanced 3D printers and print all these things as future predictors of what humans will eventually achieve? What were those smartphones, satellites, drones, helicopters, and flying cars doing on the walls of ancient Egypt?

Many now believe that the sphinx and the pyramids were built by Earthlings with far-advanced civilizations that became extinct, meaning they predate the modern people of Egypt. DNA testing of ancient Egyptian mummies bears no resemblance to present Egyptians. When people settled in Egypt, they ignored the pyramids and the sphinx in the same way that they ignored the moon and the stars, the mountains and the seas. It has always been there for as long as anyone can remember. Nobody knows who built them.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

You can go to Walmart and order a 3D print of yourself while you wait - wow!

WERE THEY GENTLE TERRORISTS OR REBELS WITHOUT A CAUSE?

What in heaven’s name was that Marawi siege?

Were the Maute brothers the new version of gentle terrorists, or were they rebels without a cause? If the AFP is correct, more than 700 terrorists were dead, and for what? I am still puzzling over what was their goal. Prewar videos were shown planning to take over the city, but they didn’t show what their aim was. Were they paid to simply destroy the city? Why was Hapilon alone? Where are his Tausug fighters from the famed Abu Sayyaf terror group? Were the Abu Sayyaf bandits decimated, forcing Hapilon to seek refuge in Marawi?

Long before the Marawi siege, the government was already engaged in an all-out war in Sulu and Basilan against the Abu Sayyaf. Is the government finally winning over terror and other lawless elements? Will the NPA next to go extinct?

I am left scratching my head, wondering why they did what they did. If their goal was parallel with the Middle East ISIS, they did everything wrong from the start, meaning they were not being properly coached. They burned Dansalan College, the catholic church, and other places that forewarned people to run. If their goal was to declare Marawi City an Islamic State, allowing people to leave was a great mistake. How can you declare a city without people a State? They should have taken the entire city’s population a hostage. They should have mined and blockaded all the bridges and isolated the main city from across the river. If needed, they should have blown up the bridges. With people still in the city, the government would have rendered air support useless, and the war would have dragged on for years, not months.

As Marawians, let’s take comfort in the knowledge that it could have been far worst. Destroyed buildings can be rebuilt and the government is doing everything it can to do just that. Maybe it is just Allah’s mysterious way of doing better things. Nothing in the world is free. There is always something to pay for something better in return.

The terrorists probably expected the Maranaws to rally behind them but when the people started running and the terror group let them, their cause whatever it was, was lost. They should have realized that they couldn’t fight the AFP bullet for bullet sniper for sniper because the government has endless supply of men and firepower. Resistance was futile. They should have abandoned the city in the early days and return to their lairs in the mountains of Butig to fight another day. What a waste and all for nothing…!

REBUILDING MARAWI: Summer Capital of the South

Rudy D. shared his post, and in the dialogue/thread posts, he suggested an alternative outlet road from Marawi via Guimba without elaborating. I remember as a child trekking these parts of the countryside where I spent part of my childhood growing up. I don’t really know what these places look like right now, so I went to one place – Google!

I am referring to an old road that cuts through cornfields and traverses various barrios up close to the Pantar Bridge. Surprisingly, Google has it marked in its satellite maps.

During the American era, Dansalan City, renamed Marawi, was the summer capital of the South. It is now or never to make Marawi/Lanao a tourist attraction and again the summer capital of the South of the Philippines.

This photo was taken in 2011. I visited my cousins living in the area and purposely placed the old road in the background for nostalgic reasons.

TIME TRAVELERS: Builders of the PYRAMIDS

This wall carvings are very significant and it has of course attracted a lot of attention but what strikes me as odd is the less attention given to its deeper significance. Aside from the helicopter, I have not seen in any you tube video where the rest of the carvings were interpreted more intelligently in fact science have a specific term for it. When I looked at various you tube videos with more scrutiny; I was shocked at what I likewise ignored as helicopter and planes. I realized that what we simply ignored as insects where mechanical robotic insects or why will the creator mix it with mechanical objects like the helicopter and flying cars? You be the judge…!

😊 absolute proof the Pyramids of Giza were built by TIME TRAVELLERS meaning if they have the technology to build the Pyramids of Giza; they have the technology to travel in time and most probably the technology to live forever – THE IMMORTALS and yeah – they are Intergalactic interplanetary hoppers. The proof has been as we say…at the tip of our noses. Don’t be surprised therefore to find Pyramids everywhere in the galaxy not to mention Mars. They must have used a technology beyond our imagination like…object materialization?

Nostradamus vision of JESUS: SHOCKING

According to the Nostradamus prophecies; Jesus will unite the Muslims of Asia and Africa and invade Europe. According to the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.); he will destroy the anti-Christ, break the cross, have a family and live among us for 40 years. He will be buried in Medina but there is a catch...if time travel is not possible; Jesus' second coming will remain to be a myth that will never happen. Cheers; if Nostradamus saw him in the vision - it means that time travel is no fiction.

DUTERTE: Captain Barbell is falling…!

Sad! Captain Barbell, the country’s superhero, is falling from the sky. In a world where the battle for the hearts and minds of people is fought in the arena of the media, the president’s men who run the department are highly amateurish. What a waste—Teddy Locsin Jr. would better serve the country as press secretary than a UN ambassador.

One word, one bullet that is disabling the president’s wing, is EJK, a despicable word that the enemy of the state has honed to shoot down the president’s rating. Gangs and criminals, drug peddlers, and their bosses kill with impunity because, anyway, the media and HR groups will call it EJK. Rouge policemen involved in drugs, kidnapping, and other criminal activities likewise kill with impunity in broad daylight to discredit a president who is bound to get them one way or another.

EJK is not only shooting down the president’s rating but also overshadowing the great things the government is doing.

The Mega Manila subway system alone is mindbogglingly inspiring, and previous administrations considered it too big and too expensive even to talk about. It is not new; it has been floated as far back as I can remember, but no president dares to touch it with a totem pole. It needs a superhero to drag it out of people’s dreams to reality, but hey, the subway system is just one of many goodies in the president’s sack full of promises – a 9 trillion build, build, and build infrastructure programs. 9 trillion is 9 trillion worth of goodies – local and international airports, superhighways, expressways, railways, speed trains, Light Rail Transits, sky-ways, bridges, ports, and free college education. It is breathtaking, and then you pause and wonder – what the hell were previous administrations doing? You realize then why the president's political enemies want him to fail: to save face.

What the government need is a PR company or an agency of government that will respond effectively to the president’s critiques in a civilized manner not name calling or cursing. It is right for the media to cover the war on drugs but it should likewise cover what the government is doing for the fallen innocents. Cops are charged with murder. Erring cops are sent to the front line while others are either discharged from service or suspended for offenses unbecoming of an officer and a gentleman.

Where in the world did you hear an entire police force of a city numbering thousands shipped out to other places for mere suspicion of involvement in crimes? Why is the media mum on these important issues?

The government needs a media that highlights its gargantuan infrastructure projects. The war on drugs, which initially excites people, has lost its allure. Let people hear what they want to hear…a beautiful Philippines racing towards “first-world” country status.

ISIS: Never Underestimate the Power of the DARK SIDE

It is all so unreal - Terrorists/ISIS…? Are you joking? Most Filipinos don’t even know where Marawi City is and yea, the ISIS/ISIL/IS whichever name you chose is in the Middle East. How did it come to my highlander city halfway around the world?

Terror has likewise globalized. It can happen to anyone, any place anywhere. The masterminds of 9/11 – the Big-Bang that globalized terror succeeded beyond their dreams and most of them live to see it come true.

Nostradamus' BATTLE WITH ALIENS

I find it extremely unfair that interpreters of the Nostradamus prophecies should consider this quatrain ‘fiction’ simply because it defies the imagination of most, and yet Hollywood we bankroll in billions for supporting their “Alien” movies are likewise obsessed with this so-called fiction. Nostradamus is never known to be a fiction writer because if he was, then why the hell are we obsessed with his prophecies hundreds of years after he wrote them? If one is fiction, then most, if not all, must be fiction as well. You be the judge…
