SICK 36,000 FEET IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE IN SPACE

Something happened on my journey back to KSA…

In the many years that I have been traveling this route; I was never on a flight where someone needed medical attention. When the call was first made: “attention; is there any doctor or nurse on board…” I didn’t give it much thought. “Let others respond,” was in the back of my mind but when after 5 minutes; a more frantic call repeatedly interrupted the movie I was watching; I had to get on my feet with more relaxed urgency. The flight crews were crowding over a seat not far in front of my own.

“How can I help, I am a doctor.”

Except for the male attendants; all the female crews were Filipinos. There was one passenger obviously in respiratory distress. The female attendant cleared the way for me. I bent forward and asked few quick questions to the patient; a Filipino female passenger who can barely talk. After more than 30 years in the business of making people well; few questions usually suffices to have a general idea of what is wrong. Experienced physicians often times need not examine patients but protocol demand that we do. She had I was certain of having an acute bout of bronchial asthma without even putting the stethoscope over her chest.

“Hmm,” I thought, “what a real bad place to have an attack of asthma 36,000 feet in the middle of nowhere in space.” I know people in the same condition who died inside a taxi on the way to the hospital while caught in the traffic of Metro Manila. It was no surprise that the flight crews were frantic. The captain must have already considered landing the plane at the nearest airport. After almost 3 hours into our 9 hours and 50 minutes flight from Manila to Riyadh; I surmised that we were somewhere in the airspace of India.

“Where is your medical kit?” I asked the male attendant. “Show it to me.”

“The captain need your ID,” he replied. I almost laughed because when I decided to answer the call, I had to fish out my wallet from the bottom of my laptop bag lying under the seat. I thought that someone will most probably demand for an ID.

“What can I do,” I heard a female voice cowering over me while I bent over the suitcase full of medicines. “I am a nurse.”

“Lucky me,” I virtually smiled not only that now I have someone to administer the meds; among the medicines in the big suit case were exactly what the patient needs.

The nurse handed me a stethoscope. The patient almost had a complete obstruction we refer to in medical parlance as ‘silent lung.’ She could die without proper treatment and urgently. I pulled out from the pack of medicines an ‘epinephrine ampoule.’ I told the nurse to prepare 0.3 cc of it.  Lucky; there was also a ‘ventolin inhaler’ in the kit.

The nurse was hesitant when I told her to give the patient 0.3 cc of the epinephrine, sub-cu but she plunged it into the patient’s arm when I repeated the command. It used to be the standard meds we give to patients in the emergency room with acute attacks of asthma but with the advent of more modern treatments; I have not used it in the last 25 years or so. Epinephrine is however a standard meds that can be found in every Emergency room and emergency medical kits for other uses or as the doctor sees fit :-)
I also told the nurse to give the patient 2 puffs of the inhaler.

“She will be alright in 15 minutes,” I said to the worried flight crews and walked back to my seat.

After 20 minutes; one of the flight attendants handed me a form to fill up. The patient was better just as I told the crew she would be. The chief of the crew came later to return my ID and to thank me personally.

I just performed one of my medical magic; the same that made people in this town call me “Barraka;” the miracle man. Some in this town call me the “emir” of doctors :-)

SAUDIA AIRLINE SHOULD GIVE ME A PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION…LOL

Whenever AIPAC (Israel) declare war; AMERICANS DIE and the rest of us becomes peripheral damage

Infinitely absurd; AIPAC (Israel) declares war and Americans die. How long will it take Americans to wake up is anybody’s guess? I think waking up is out of the question for a nation whose minds and souls are forever psyched into love of war and absolute obedience to the puppeteers of Zion lording it over at DC.

AIPAC Declares War
By Philip Giraldi

2-23-12
The American people don’t particularly want a new war in the Middle East, but apparently Congress and Washington’s most powerful lobby do. Thirty-two senators have co-sponsored a resolution that will constrain the White House from adopting any policy vis-à-vis Iran’s “nuclear weapons capability” that amounts to “containment.” The senators include the familiar figures of Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, both of whom have persistently called for military action. They and the other senators have presented their proposal in a particularly deceptive fashion, asserting that they are actually supporting the White House position, which they are not. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta repeated on Feb. 16 that Iran does not have and is not currently building a nuclear device. Before Christmas, he stated clearly that the “red line” for the United States is actual Iranian possession of a nuclear weapon. Even Israel’s intelligence services agree that Iran is not building a bomb. What we are seeing play out in Congress is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) position, which is that Iran has already crossed a “red line.”The AIPAC argument will no doubt be spelled out in more detail next month at the group’s annual convention in the nation’s capital, a meeting that will be addressed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and will attract nearly all of Washington’s power brokers.

There are about 50 countries in the world that have the capability to produce a nuclear weapon if they chose to do so, making Iran far from unique but for its persistence as a thorn in the side of Israel and Israel’s powerful lobby in the United States. In other words, Iran does not have to actually produce a nuclear weapon for it to be subject to attack by either Israel or the United States. It only has to continue to be an irritant for Israel.

BURNING THE QUR’AN: a wrong expression of hate

BURNING THE QUR’AN: A WRONG EXPRESSION OF HATE

Sometimes in the 80s; a question reached Saudi Arabia’s religious ministry of how best to dispose of newspapers and magazines where verses of the Qur’an and photos of Mecca and Medina are printed. These waste materials often times ends up being used as wrappers or simply thrown away in the garbage. The recommendation was to burn it.

Burning the Qur’an is therefore a proper way of disposing old Qur’an rather than leaving it collecting dust in the dungeon or dumping it in garbage. We also develop the habit of giving our non-Muslim friends a copy of the Qur’an as a gift but how many of our friends care? We may even give it to people who hate Islam as in the undeniable case of the USA’s forces who may not only burn it but use it as toiletries as an expression of not only anger and mockery of God but extreme hate.

Burning the Qur’an per se is not wrong; it is the evil intentions that spark anger among the believers especially in a nation suffering under occupation by another believed to be infidels and Muslim haters.

Six dead in Afghanistan Koran burning protests
At least six people have been killed and dozens injured in Afghanistan after protests spread over the burning of copies of the Koran at a US airbase.
One person was killed in Kabul, one in the eastern city of Jalalabad and at least four in Parwan province.
US officials apologised on Tuesday after Korans were "inadvertently" put in an incinerator at Bagram airbase.
Officials at Bagram reportedly believed Taliban prisoners were using the books to pass messages to each other.
The charred remains of the volumes were found by local labourers.

ABSURD REPUBLICANS: they chose Israel over the American people

It boggles the mind how absurdly minded Republicans are choosing Israel over the American people as if Israelis not Americans are voting for the USA’s presidential elections. After Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and host of other wars where USA is directly or indirectly an active participant; Americans are weary of wars not to mention being bankrupt by the inhuman, demonic and monstrous nature of such a futile exercise. If Republicans thinks that by singing Israel’s songs of the apocalypse; they will get Americans vote; they are wrong. Americans might be misinformed but they are not stupid not to see the obvious; a vote for a republican is a vote for war with Iran.

Santorum accuses Obama of abandoning Israel for Iran

Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum has criticized the administration of Barack Obama for what he calls choosing Iran over Israel in fear of losing Iranian oil.

"We’re (the US government) throwing Israel under the bus because we know we’re going to be dependent upon OPEC [the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries]," Santorum said during a speech in Oklahoma City on Thursday.

He claimed Obama is not trying to halt Iran’s nuclear program in order to gain access to the country’s oil.

"The president (Obama) fought tooth and nail against putting sanctions on Iran and only capitulated at the end. This is a president who is not standing by our allies, is trying to appease, trying to find a way to allow - clearly to allow Iran to get this nuclear weapon," Santorum later told CNN.

THE RETURN OF RUSSIA AND THE COLD WAR: A PROXY WAR IN SYRIA

I remember well; I wrote to some friends in 1991 that the fall of the USSR does not bode well for the rest of the world. I said then and I have been so far proven right that it will be a world comparable to a country ruled by one party system where there is no opposition.

If USSR did not fall as an empire, the brutal murder of Khaddafy and the destruction of Libya would not have happened.

The war in Iraq and Afghanistan may have taken a different direction.

The world needs an equally robust empire to stand up to the beast and restrain the marauding demons (CIA) killing people and bringing down governments who do not bow to their whims. We look to China for such role but China has 1.5 billion people to feed. War is not to the interest of the Chinese and you have to admire their leaders for being pro-people.

The world needs Putin; the James Bond lookalike of Daniel Craig and former chief of the KGB to stand up to the BEAST OF EMPIRES.

Syria marks the return of Russia; the BEAR OF EMPIRES or will it?

If Syria falls; it will cut off Iran from Hezbollah which is the genuine aim of USA/Israel/NATO. Technically; it is easy for the west to do because 90% of Syrians are Sunnis against the ruling minority of Alawites. With most if not all of the Sunni Arabs allied with USA; Syria can turn into a battle ground between the West and their Arab allies vs. Iran/Russia.

Syria is the spark that will engulf the region in a new conflagration of war and destruction…

US and Allies 'Considering Plans' for Military Aid to Syrian Rebels

By NewsCore
February 09, 2012 "
Herald Sun" - -THE US and its allies were considering giving military aid to the Syrian opposition battling the regime of President Bashar al Assad in an 11-month uprising that activists say has killed more than 6,000 people.

The Pentagon had drawn up contingency plans which could include supplying the Free Syrian Army (FSA) with weapons and establishing a humanitarian corridor to deliver aid to civilians, The Times reported today, citing a US official.

PEOPLE'S VERDICT: Corona is guilty as hell...

The senate must now assume sitting as Jury the presumption of guilt and find the CJ guilty as hell. If the defense thinks that they score a point; they are wrong for whatever reasonable defense they will put up; the people will think of ” flight” for what can you call CJ panic in seeking for a TRO (to stop the revelation of his dollar accounts) as a sign of guilt. The defense is trying to condition people’s mind that this is a criminal court where guilt has to be proven beyond reasonable doubt but the senate is no ordinary people. They know that in an impeachment court; all the prosecution need is to establish a “reasonable doubt” as to the fitness of the CJ to continue sitting as one CJ. As in the case of Estrada; the prosecutors instead of walking out (no to the opening of Erap’s accounts) should now rest their case. They have established enough reasonable doubt to impeach the CF.  They should rest their case while the dollar account hangs over the head of Corona like the sword of Damocles; like the envelope containing alleged accounts of Estrada. Corona’s dollar account like Estrada’s unopened envelope is better left locked in the bank’s computers…

SC issues TRO on CJ's alleged dollar accounts

Palace says TRO 'brazen effort to derail trial'

MANILA, Philippines (1st UPDATE) - The Supreme Court (SC), in a vote of 8-5, issued on Thursday an indefinite temporary restraining order (TRO) on the subpoena issued by the impeachment court on the alleged dollar accounts of Chief Justice Renato Corona in Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank).

In a press conference, SC spokesman and Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez said the high court took note of the provision under Foreign Currency Deposit Act. The law specifically states that a disclosure of foreign currency bank accounts can only be made upon written permission from the depositor.

Israel be afraid of your apocalyptic minded ‘HERO’ leaders; not Iran

I wish leaders of the world once get elected don’t stop listening to the people for it is what democracy is all about; a government of the people for the people unfortunately; our leaders once seated at the helms of power thinks of the people as stupid morons who doesn’t know what is good for the country and they alone knows better. Protesters against the evils of government are hosed with water cannons, beaten and hauled to jails while the naiveté as lambs are sent to die in mindless wars.

Israelis Should be Afraid of Their Leaders, not Iran

For far too long now Israel has been headed by heroes, the kind who don't hesitate to take the country on yet another dangerous, purposeless adventure. We must tell them now, loudly: We are a-f-r-ai-d.

By Gideon Levy

February 07, 2012 "
Haaretz" - - Some of the people reading these lines will not live through the winter; some of them may not die a natural death. If one is to believe the threats that are ramping up at warp speed, Israel will strike Iran's nuclear facilities before spring. If the assessments are accurate, hundreds or even thousands of Israelis will die in the retaliatory missile attacks that are sure to come.

SNIP

All Israeli wars since 1973 were flawed wars of choice. Israel initiated all of them. None of them was inevitable; none resulted in any benefit that could not have been achieved using different means. In fact all of them were disastrous for us, even if the disaster was even greater for the other side. The most megalomaniac of them all, the Second Lebanon War, was also the most disastrous of them all. This bears remembering when debating the even greater megalomania of an attack on Iran.

In both the Second Lebanon War and the war in the Gaza Strip Israel lost more than it gained. But these were only the trailers for what is liable to happen in the First Iran War. It has the potential to be the most monstrous war of all. Even if we accept the reassurances of the next minister of war, Barak, hundreds of Israeli civilian deaths are anticipated. Even if we believe his forecast we must keep in mind that no one can predict how a war will develop and what it will bring.

Israel must do all it can to keep Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons - everything except launching another war of choice.

Israel has not been led by cowards for a long time, the type whose fear caused them to act wisely and cautiously. For far too long now Israel has been headed by heroes, the kind who don't hesitate to take the country on yet another dangerous, purposeless adventure.

We must tell them now, loudly: We are a-f-r-a-i-d.

WHY I BELIEVE THESE PHOTOS ARE GENUINE

WHY I BELIEVE THESE PHOTOS ARE GENUINE

Previous pictures appearing in the net had been proven to be faked but I found the following pictures really hard to fake. They have to be real…subhan’allah!

All the shadows matches meaning no picture or pictures were superimposed. The dirt at the tip of the shoe matches the dirt on the ground meaning this guy is real. The blobs (rounded shadows) usually from the lens of the camera are undisturbed. This photo must be genuine.

ISRAELI OFFICIALS: Terrorists may get Syria's weapons

If this report is true then it is well and good. It will be a deterrent to Israel and USA/NATO from attacking Iran.

For any Israel/USA/NATO assault on Iran to succeed; it must first neutralize Hezbollah meaning watch out; any Israel’s bombing or invasion of Lebanon would signal an immediate prelude to war with Iran. Israel’s defense forces will most probably invade Lebanon while its air force bombs Iran’s nuclear facilities. Israel knows that Hezbollah can inflict greater damage than what Iran can do on the shorter term. Hezbollah is Iran’s deterrent because Israel does not know exactly what weapons Hezbollah has that it can unleash if and when Israel bombs Iran.

With Mubarak out; Israel can no longer predict how the Egyptian people will respond to a war with the Palestinians. Egyptian weapons can easily be transported through its borders with Gaza meaning Israel should stop talking about tilting the balance of power in the Middle East. The world has changed and like the arrow of time; it cannot be reversed. It is stupid for Israel and its western dogs of war to believe that it can forever thumbs down on the Arabs and the Muslim world at large.

Israeli officials: Terrorists may get Syria's weapons
Weapons include advanced SA missiles, high-trajectory long-range rockets and missiles, and biological and chemical weapons, officials say.

SNIP

Following the bloody weekend assault on Homs by Assad's forces, Israeli defense sources said large amounts of weapons could be transferred to Hezbollah, in Lebanon, or to other organizations.
The weapons include advanced SA missiles, high-trajectory long-range rockets and missiles, and biological and chemical weapons, the officials said.
Speaking last week at the Herzliya Conference, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said: "It is difficult to predict exactly what will happen in Syria. We're watching for attempts to pass advanced weapons systems that could edge the delicate balance in Lebanon to Hezbollah."
After Muammar Gadhafi's regime collapsed in Libya last year, the army's caches were looted and SA missiles and rockets found their way to various terror organizations - from militias in east Africa, to Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip, officials said.

ASTRAL PROJECTION AND THE GIFT OF PREMONITIONS

ASTRAL PROJECTIONS AND OTHER GIFTS

If you have the natural gift of astral projection; look deeper because projection is just a minor manifestation of things more significant than you can possibly imagine. The following stories are purely based on my experience. I don’t like writing lengthy stories in one setting, so I will write a few incidents at a time.

I would like to mention the movie “Final Destination” as a reference story because you will hardly find anyone who has not seen at least one of the series. When the movie makers killed the dreamer, they killed the only truth in the movie. That the dreamer was forewarned is no fiction. It happens; it can happen to anyone gifted with the power of premonition. It is an astral projection in time. You can time projects in minutes, in years, or in decades into the past or future. Some people like to tame the gift and do it consciously, but I don’t. I treat it like a friend who is free to come and go. Again, what if in the movie “Final Destination,” the aircraft pilot, after the altercation, ordered the rechecking of the engines just for the heck and discovered that indeed something was wrong and fixed it. In real life; the dreamer would have saved hundreds of lives.

Another movie, “Unbreakable,” was probably the most unexciting of all Bruce Willis movies, but for some strange phenomenon, I watched it because I thought I was watching the perplexing saga of my own existence.

Although I can have a premonition of future events, I dream only of those that directly concern me. Since I am not in a position to influence events of any significance, the gift benefits no one.

I was on a flight from Abha, the capital city of the Assir (Southwest) region of Saudi Arabia, to Jeddah. As soon as we landed at the Jeddah International Airport, the plane, before it lost momentum, took off again. I saw the flight attendant’s face turned deathly pale, and so was I. I can feel my heart rambling inside my chest. As soon as we were in the air again, the flight attendant unfastened her belt and calmly walked to the first-class section of the plane. Her color was better when she returned. She is from my country, so I asked her in our vernacular what had happened. “There was an airport truck in the middle of the runaway,” she replied very calmly.

Thinking about it gave me the creeps to this day. The plane was big, a Tri-Star. All the other passengers seemed to be in suspended animation. Nobody stirred nor spoke a single word. The only two who seemed to be alive were the flight stewardess and me. Even the other flight attendants didn’t move. I don’t even remember hearing a single word from the captain over the speaker. He could have at least reassured the passengers for comfort, or why would any jetliner after landing take off again unless there was significant engine trouble or hijacking.

I was seated in the front row, facing the flight attendant directly, where she belted herself on take-offs and landings. The plane circled the airport and made another smooth landing. People deplaned eerily as if they were drugged or were sleepwalking. They were either morbidly shocked or didn’t know we landed twice. I kept asking myself one question. Was it possible for the plane to have crashed if I wasn’t in it? Looking back, the possibility is indeed very real.  It might look too much of an assumption to make, but hey, I died when I was a few months old, my mother claimed, but I wriggled back to life while they were wrapping me up in my white burial shroud. I am from a tribe (Maranaw) in the south of the Philippines, considered poor and backward 60 years ago.

I was driving back from Khamis Mushayt on Wednesday, April 5, 2000. In Sara’t Abidah, a big town halfway between Khamis and Zahran Al Janoub, where I live and work, a terrible accident happened.

I was caught between cars driving no faster than 60 km per hour. There were three cars in front and another one behind me, all of them probably from the town or a nearby village because none of them seemed to be in a hurry.

Since I was still an hour away from my destination, I wanted to drive ahead, so I turned the wheel to the opposite lane. A white car was coming in the opposite direction, so I changed my mind and decided to drive back to my lane. Before I could, however, I heard a shattering noise and saw two cars collide in my sideview mirror. A car speeding behind me was driving so fast it wasn’t in my view the last time I looked in the mirror. It was about to hit me with a force that would have killed me, but before he could, the car coming in the opposite direction hit him on the driver’s side and knocked him off the road.

I continued driving, but my hands and legs were shaking all the way. None of the cars stopped, so I didn’t stop either. We were still in the town, a few blocks from the 150-bed Hospital.
Two days after the accident (Friday, a weekend in KSA), I played tennis with the Filipino X-ray technician at the hospital’s tennis court. I asked him if he attended to the accident the other day.
“One of the drivers,” he said, “died on the spot with the wheel crushing against his chest.” I felt really sad.
The real mystery was how I got to that spot at the very precise moment, like clockwork. I should have never been there in the first place, but there was a series of events in the week that I can only describe as weird, really weird. If only one of those events had not happened, I would have never been in that exact spot.

An hour and a half before that accident, I was inside my car. I purchased some things from the department/grocery store. I was ready to drive away, but I thought I would buy a burger so I would not have to cook dinner when I got home. I alighted from my car and walked to the “Herfy Restaurant” beside the Department store. I bought a giant burger, drank the Coke, ate the French fries, and had the burger wrapped. I must have been in the restaurant for at least 20 minutes, meaning if I had not thought of buying the burger, I would not have been on that spot at the precise moment of the accident. With many other players, I was a programmed robot for the week with mind-boggling precision, but the question remains; why would God sacrifice the life of another to preserve mine…?

I discovered BEAST 666 in 1990 (UN Resolution 666/Gulf War-The Battle for Babylon/Iraq), and in 1994, I discovered the New Jerusalem (MECCA), which means that, believe it or not, Jesus’ second coming could happen in our lifetime.

Iran's Supreme Leader Threatens Israel, U.S.

The madness of 2012 is not what the makers of the movie 2012 predicted based on a prehistoric  calendar but the non-fictitious mad-men of the real world about to commit us all to a suicide that will end the world as we know it. The word-war alone has already raised the prices of oil to unreachable heights by ordinary people. Cooking gas is now close to a thousand pesos. Imagine what happens if a full gulf war breaks out with oil from the region not only halted but set in flame by warring nations whose only weapon it can use to hit back at the EVIL EMPIRE is to deny it the energy it needs to live in comfort.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: We'll help any nation or group that confronts "cancerous tumor" Israel.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, threatened Israel on Friday, saying the Islamic Republic will help any nation or group that confronts the Jewish State, The Associated Press reported.

In remarks to worshippers during Friday prayers in Tehran which were broadcast on state TV, Khamenei said Iran would continue its nuclear program and warned that any military strike by the U.S. would only make Iran stronger.

On Thursday it was reported that U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta believes there is "a strong likelihood" that Israel will strike Iran in April, May or June.

The Washington Post's David Ignatius reported about Panetta’s concerns in his column in the paper, saying Israel believes that after this time, Iran will have entered a “zone of immunity” that will enable it to build a nuclear bomb at its leisure, Ignatius wrote.

"Very soon, the Israelis fear, the Iranians will have stored enough enriched uranium in deep underground facilities to make a weapon — and only the United States could then stop them militarily," explained Ignatius. The U.S., however, does not intend to hit Iran until it has intelligence that Iran is actually building a bomb, and "Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu doesn’t want to leave the fate of Israel dependent on American action..."

AMERICAN SNIPER: ‘I Only Wish I Had Killed More’

I wonder if this sniper/author ever thought of turning the gun on his head and pulling the trigger. It is the only way he could have killed the most savage of them all or he could have aimed his sniper rifle and killed the savage man who lied that turned him into what he has become; a remorseless and conscienceless killer. This is the perfect soldier, a soulless killing machine that builds ruthless empires of borderless evil. I wonder if he is still proud of what he did (obviously he is) after knowing that the Iraq war was based on pure evil pack of lies. He killed in the name of evil; nothing more.

Evil in the Crosshairs
'I Only Wish I Had Killed More'

February 03, 2012 "
Lew Rockwell" -- I recently mentioned here the deadliest sniper in U.S. history. Huff Post is running an excerpt from his bookAmerican Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History. Here is his absolutely warped view of the war in Iraq:
Savage, despicable evil. That's what we were fighting in Iraq. That's why a lot of people, myself included, called the enemy "savages." There really was no other way to describe what we encountered there. People ask me all the time, "How many people have you killed?" My standard response is, "Does the answer make me less, or more, of a man?" The number is not important to me. I only wish I had killed more. Not for bragging rights, but because I believe the world is a better place without savages out there taking American lives. Everyone I shot in Iraq was trying to harm Americans or Iraqis loyal to the new government.
And why were they trying to harm Americans? Could it be because Americans invaded and occupied their country?

I had a job to do as a SEAL. I killed the enemy--an enemy I saw day in and day out plotting to kill my fellow Americans. I'm haunted by the enemy's successes. They were few, but even a single American life is one too many lost.
I don't worry about what other people think of me. It's one of the things I most admired about my dad growing up. He didn't give a hoot what others thought. He was who he was. It's one of the qualities that has kept me most sane.
As this book goes to print, I'm still a bit uncomfortable with the idea of publishing my life story. First of all, I've always thought that if you want to know what life as a SEAL is like, you should go get your own Trident: earn our medal, the symbol of who we are. Go through our training, make the sacrifices, physical and mental. That's the only way you'll know.
Second of all, and more importantly, who cares about my life? I'm no different than anyone else.
I happen to have been in some pretty bad-ass situations. People have told me it's interesting. I don't see it. Other people are talking about writing books about my life, or about some of the things I've done. I find it strange, but I also feel it's my life and my story, and I guess I better be the one to get it on paper the way it actually happened.
Also, there are a lot of people who deserve credit, and if I don't write the story, they may be overlooked. I don't like the idea of that at all. My boys deserve to be praised more than I do.
The Navy credits me with more kills as a sniper than any other American service member, past or present. I guess that's true.

ATTACK OF THE DRONES: ABU SAYYAF WILL HAVE NO PLACE TO HIDE

It is almost certain without saying that the ‘Abu Sayyaf’ leadership killed (if you consider the kind of aircrafts our military has) was carried by drones. USA has thousands of these killing machines they deploy in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Middle East and Africa. It is most effective in hunting down insurgents in remote places where it can zero in on a target’s cell phone pulses even if it is switched off plus other top secret means. The Iraq government very recently launched a diplomatic protest against the US government for flying drones in Iraq allegedly to patrol the areas around the US embassy. The future of war is here…

Abu Sayyaf founder 'Dr. Abu', key JI operatives among 15 Islamists killed in Sulu
MANILA, Philippines -- (UPDATE 4 - 6:06 p.m.) A key commander of the Abu Sayyaf and two foreign operatives of the Southeast Asian terror network Jemaah Islamiyah were among at least 15 Islamists killed in a government air strike in Sulu province on Thursday morning, the Armed Forces of the Philippines said.
"Our troops on the ground have confirmed the death of 15 Abu Sayyaf and JI members, including Zulkifli bin Abdul Hir, alias Marwan, Mohammad Ali, alias Muawiyah, and Abu Sayyaf leader Abu Pula," who is also known as Dr. Abu and whose real name is Gumbahali Abu Jumdali, Major General Noel Coballes, chief of the Western Mindanao Command, said.
All three had rewards from the United States government -- Marwan for $5 million, Jumdail for $140,000, and Mauwiyah for $50,000.
SNIP
The strike on Barangay Duyan Kabau in Parang town was carried out by OV-10 Bronco planes starting at 3 a.m.
Armed Force of the Philippines spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Arnulfo Burgos Jr. said the air strike was the product of months of intelligence work with support from the United States.
A rotating force of 600 US Special Forces has been stationed in the southern Philippines for a decade to help train local troops in how to combat Islamic militants.
The US forces are only allowed to advise the Filipino soldiers, and are banned from having a combat role.
